My chinchilla

Chinchillas are good pets for older children and teenagers. They are very shy by nature and have to be looked after very carefully. They need regular care and if they are well kept, they live for up to 20 years. If you interact with them gently, they become trusting and inquisitive.
If you can provide them with the right kind of cage and basic fittings from the very start, they are relatively cheap and easy to look after. Chinchillas are very social and therefore are best kept in pairs. Males should be castrated in good time to prevent unwanted breeding. more...

My degu

Degus have been kept as pets for a good 10 years. They are very animated and inquisitive rodents with an extremely pronounced gnawing instinct, that is to say they gnaw absolutely everything which can reduce their teeth to next to nothing. However, they are very social and active during the day and this makes them ideal pets for slightly older children. If they are well looked after they can live for 6-10 years. more...

My mouse

Mice are very easy pets. There are many different varieties and
colours. Mice do not cost a lot to look after, however they are very lively so you should get your new rodent the most interesting cage that you can. Most importantly, male mice have a very strong, individual odour and are therefore not suitable for people with a sensitive sense of smell. Although mice are nocturnal, when kept as pets, they only sleep by the hour during the day. The average life expectancy of a mouse is 2 –2.5 years. more...

My rabbit

Their cute appearance, miniature size and above all, friendly demeanour make rabbits ideal pets. However, our joy and fervour for these cuddly little animals should not blind us to the fact that they are animals given to flight. For this reason, it is recommended that children are supervised when they spend time with them. When rabbits are thrown into a panic they try to flee and can hurt themselves or even scratch and bite in the process. more...

My rat
