Maxi Zoo believes in giving back to the community.  All stores are involved with local charities, events, organizations and even schools to help improve the lives of pets and pet owners all across Ireland! Local Animal Charity Donation Bins

Every Maxi Zoo store has a donation bin. The goods collected are given to local animal charities to help them provide for the animals in their care.  Please consider contributing donations when shopping for your pet, and help spread the love!

Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind

Maxi Zoo supports the clients of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind by offering them a discount on super premium dog food, as well as 25% discount on nonfood items.

Responsible Pet Ownership School Talks

Maxi Zoo has a team visiting national schools to speak to children about being a Responsible Pet Owner. It is an interactive and informative talk, and the children even get to meet some store pets!

Pet Nutritional Information Days

Pet nutrition experts visit Maxi Zoo stores to provide additional information to customers in relation to the diet of their cats and dogs. Not only do our customers get great advice, but they also get great special offers for that day only.

Micro-chipping with the DSPCA

Maxi Zoo hosted numerous Micro-chipping Events throughout July and August 2012 in our Dublin locations.  By welcoming the DSPCA into our stores to offer customers an affordable micro-chipping service, we offered two great services at once:  Not only were the pets of Ireland more prepared for an emergency, but we helped the DSPCA generate much needed funding for their continual care of animals in need.  Micro-chipping days were held in our Tallaght, Finglas, Bray, Maynooth, Naas and Waterford stores.

Reason 13

Maxi Zoo’s Reason 13 campaign started in August 2012, and took place over 13 weeks in all stores.  During this time, every customer that made a purchase in store could enter a draw to win the value of their shopping back. At the end of the 13 weeks an overall winner was chosen from the 13 weekly winners, and they then ALSO won enough food to feed their pet for an entire year!

World Animal Week – A Dog’s Life Should Be A Ball

Maxi Zoo is celebrating animals for the month of October! During this time customers have the opportunity to donate €1 to charity by buying one of our plastic balls. Help us fill the crates, as all proceeds go to a local animal charity.  Maxi Zoo stores also held a Family Fun weekend Saturday 6^th and 7^th of October, with a variety of events and festivities!
