The Exo Terra Reptile UVB150 has very high UVB emissions similar to sunlight in deserts. These places receive more direct sunlight. For this reason, desert reptiles are exposed to more
UV radiation than other types of reptiles.
The lamp can also be used on terrariums with more dense mesh covers
to ensure sufficient UVB radiation. Dense covers can filter up to 50%
of the UVB rays.
The high vitamin D3 value index ensures vitaminD3 photosynthesis, which contributes to calcium absorption
and protects against bone softening.
The light and UV radiation of compact fluorescent tubes decreases over time.
