The PetSafe® microchip cat flap reads the unique microchip ID number of your cat, so that a collar or other accessories are not required.

With its advanced selective input technology, the PetSafe Microchip cat flap is designed to enable your cat easy access to the outside world while denying other unwanted cats and animals access to your house.

With RFID technology, the PetSafe microchip cat flap reads the unique microchip ID of your cat without a collar or accessories. When your cat approaches the cat flap, the flap responds by granting access only to your cat. The cat flap remains closed and blocks access for unprogrammed cats, wild animals, pests and strays.

The cat flap is also equipped with 4 handy manual closure options that you can use to control the access of your cats.

The PetSafe microchip cat flap can read the common microchip types implanted in cats - FDX-B (15 digits).
