Adjust | As part of our mobile customer app, we use the analytics service Adjust to evaluate user access to the app and to further develop it. We also use this service for fraud prevention. Data processing in this context is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. Adjust is an analytics service provided by Adjust GmbH, Saarbrücker Straße 36, 1045 Berlin, Germany. Adjust collects data on interaction with our advertising materials as well as app installation and event data and provides us with anonymized reports. We use this information to measure the success of our app marketing campaigns, for our own market research, and to optimize the app, in particular to make it more secure. For these reports, Adjust processes your IP address, MAC address, device ID, app and event tokens, and your user agent (which contains information about your app version, operating system version, and language settings). In connection with the use of the third-party application for fraud prevention, sensor data and soft keyboard events are also processed. You can deactivate the collection, analysis, and use of data by Adjust for the future at https://www.adjust.com/opt-out/. Further information about data processing by Adjust can be found at https://www.adjust.com/terms/privacy-policy/.
Google Analytics for Firebase | We use Google Firebase in connection with the operation of our mobile customer app. Google Firebase is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”). This service includes various functions that allow us to analyze your in-app behavior. For example, we can analyze your screen views, button clicks, and/or the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. We can also determine which features within our app are used frequently or infrequently. For these purposes, Google Firebase stores, among other things, the number and duration of sessions, operating systems, device models, region, and a range of other data. You can find a detailed overview of the data collected by Google Firebase at: https://firebase.google.com/ and at https://www.firebase.com/terms/privacy-policy.html. In connection with the use of this service, it is possible that your personal data may be transferred to the USA. To protect your personal data, we have entered into a data processing agreement with Google, taking into account the standard contractual clauses. We use Google Firebase to optimize our mobile customer app. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. If you have given us your consent to the use of technologies that function like cookies, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR also forms the relevant legal basis for the data processing that takes place in this respect. You can find further information about Google Firebase at: https://firebase.google.com/ and https://www.firebase.com/terms/privacy-policy.html
Adobe Analytics | As part of our mobile customer app, we use the web analytics service Adobe Analytics to evaluate user access to the app. Data processing in this context is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. For this service to perform the analysis, cookies are stored on your device, and information is collected and stored on the servers of our data processor, Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited, 4-6 Riverwalk, City West Business Campus Dublin 24, D24DCW0, Ireland (hereinafter “Adobe”). On our behalf, Adobe will use this information to evaluate your use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. Access to this information by Adobe Systems Incorporated, which is based in the USA, cannot be ruled out. Therefore, we have concluded appropriate EU Standard Contractual Clauses with Adobe as suitable safeguards for data processing in non-European countries. You can find further information on data protection at Adobe at https://www.adobe.com/de/privacy.html. Direct identification of individuals from the information stored on Adobe servers is impossible because Adobe Analytics is used with the settings “Before Geo-Lookup: Replace visitor’s last IP octet with 0” and “Obfuscate IP-Removed.” The setting “Before Geo-Lookup: Replace visitor’s last IP octet with 0” ensures that the IP address is anonymized before geolocation by replacing the last octet with zeros. The user’s approximate location is added to the tracking package, which still contains the full IP address, for statistical analysis. Before the tracking package is saved, the IP address is replaced with a single, fixed IP address—referred to as a generic IP address—if the setting “Obfuscate IP-Removed” is configured. This means the IP address is no longer included in the saved data record.
Use of the Friends discount | Data related to the use of the Friends discount, i.e.: | Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b) GDPR (establishment, performance or termination of the contract with you) |
4. Cookies & Social Media
We use social media and employ various cookies and other analytics technologies on our website. Detailed information can be found in the cookie policy under Cookie Settings.
5. Data transfer to third parties
We primarily process your personal data in Switzerland and the European Economic Area (EEA). In certain cases, however, we may also disclose personal data to service providers and other recipients (see section 3) located outside this area or processing personal data outside this area, in principle in any country worldwide.
If a recipient is located in a country without adequate legal data protection, we contractually obligate the recipient to comply with applicable data protection regulations (for this purpose, we use, for example, the revised Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission), unless the recipient is already subject to a legally recognized framework for ensuring data protection and we cannot rely on an exception. An exception may apply, in particular, in legal proceedings abroad, but also in cases of overriding public interest, if contract performance requires such disclosure, or if you have given your consent, or if the data in question is publicly available and you have not objected to its processing.
If data is transferred to a country outside the EEA and/or a country with an adequate level of data protection, we will inform you about this data transfer in this privacy notice. If the data transfer is based on Articles 46, 47, or 49(1), second subparagraph, of the GDPR, you can obtain a copy of the safeguards ensuring an adequate level of data protection with regard to the data transfer or information on where to find a copy of these safeguards.
For detailed information about data transfers to third countries and a copy of the safeguards, you can contact us at any time:

Westpreussenstr. 32-38

6. Storage duration
We store your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations.
If your personal data is no longer required to fulfill contractual or legal obligations, it will be deleted, unless its further processing—for a limited period—is necessary for the following purposes:
Compliance with legal retention obligations, particularly those under commercial and tax law, which may arise, for example, from the German Commercial Code (HGB) or the German Fiscal Code (AO). The retention or documentation periods stipulated therein are generally two to ten years.
Preservation of evidence within the framework of the statutory limitation periods. According to Sections 195 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB), these limitation periods can be up to 30 years, with the standard limitation period being three years.
