JBL Sansibar White

White, fine soil base for freshwater and seawater aquariums.
Perfect support for plant roots: Soil for freshwater and seawater aquariums and terrariums.
Vital plant growth: Prevents seepage of mulm and other waste through fine granulation and dense stratification.
Ideal for fish, invertebrates and plants: No release of unwanted pollutants into the water. Fine, rounded granite sand is gentle on the sensitive barbels of bottom-dwelling fish.
Use: Apply the substrate to the nutrient medium (approx. 6 - 8 cm for vital plant growth).

Contents: 1 bag Sansibar White.
Unsuitable for floor heating cable.

Floor heating is only recommended for medium-fine to coarser substrates, because no proper water circulation can occur with very fine substrates.

Use

Rinse the substrate under tap water to remove any abrasion caused by transportation. Apply substrate to the nutrient medium to promote plant growth (JBL AquaBasis) (approx. 6-8 cm for strong plant growth).

The right amount of substrate: Length (cm) x width (cm): 140 = kg substrate at 5 cm thickness.
