Inspired by its success, a new harness series under the name IDC (Innova Dog Comfort) was launched in 2009. The iconic saddle area not only protects the dog's spine from the impact of the leash's carabiner but also allows the harness to be uniquely styled daily with interchangeable labels.

THE SADDLE PROTECTS YOUR DOG'S BACK

The saddle-shaped area not only serves as padding for the straps and as a visibility vest but also protects the dog's spine and sensitive nerve pathways from the impact forces of the leash's carabiner. The idea for the saddle was inspired by the founders' work in animal shelters, where daily walks with dogs in rehabilitation were one of the tasks.

Our IDC (Innova Dog Comfort) dog harness is the second generation of Powerharnesses. It is the worthy successor of our K9 Powerharness, which sparked the first dog harness trend in history and was primarily developed for the service dog sector in 1997. When designing the IDC® Powerharness, we studied the needs and habits of dog owners in urban areas for years. We had to figure out how to make what is comfortable safe and what is safe comfortable. This led to the special design that we still pursue today in the IDC® Powerharnesses, launched in 2009.
