If you use clumping litter, it is sufficient to remove the urine clumps and faeces several times a day and pour litter on top. Complete cleaning of the cat’s toilet only needs doing after a few weeks. It is different with non-clumping litter, which has to be completely cleaned more often. Biodegradable cat litter can be disposed of on the compost heap or in the organic waste. All other varieties belong in household waste after use.
