Feeding recommendation
| Weight of the animal | Feed quantity per day |
|---|---|
| 1 kg | 20 g |
| 2 - 3 kg | 40-60 g |
| 4 kg | 80 g |
| 5 kg | 100 g |
Remember that good quality feeding hay and/or grass should make up the majority of your rabbits’ diet and should be available at all times. Rabbits should also be fed a small portion of Excel nuggets, the occasional Excel Nature Snack to add variety and encourage emotional enrichment, and a small amount of leafy greens each day. Fresh, clean water should always be available. Please talk to your vet for further information.
If you are currently feeding a muesli-style food to your rabbits you should gradually transfer them onto a hay and nugget-based feeding plan over a period of between 14 and 28 days. You can do this by gradually reducing the amount of muesli and increasing the proportion of Excel Adult Rabbit Nuggets with Mint until they have completely replaced the mix.
Always ensure you are monitoring your rabbits’ weight to ensure a healthy weight. If you are ever unsure you should seek veterinary advice.

Understanding customer ratings and reviews
Product reviews
How do reviews work in the Fressnapf group (including Maxi Zoo)?
Customer opinions in the form of product reviews and star ratings are beneficial for all customers. They enable you to learn more about the product and help you make a decision to purchase. Every customer who has bought a product online or in the store can submit a review. We also obtain reviews from third-party sources, e.g. manufacturer sites. The source of the review is shown alongside the respective comment. Its customers’ opinions are important to Fressnapf in order to analyse any weak points and to improve product quality. Our service provider Bazaarvoice checks all reviews to ensure that they are credible. Any review content that breaches the Fressnapf Group's terms of use will be rejected. Otherwise, both positive and negative product reviews are published. More information about product reviews can be found here.
