DV8 Bird is based on Fipronil, an insecticide /Acaricide that belongs to the Phenylpyrazole family. It acts on the nervous system of the mites generating an activity uncontrolled central nervous system and causing death of the parasite. After local application the product is spread over the entire bird in 24 hours. It diffuses covering the skin and plumage. The active principle Fipronil will be released progressively over the following weeks, providing the animal with complete and lasting protection.
Application: on the back of the bird at a distance approx 5-10cm. If infestation persists repeat treatment after 1 month.
