Legal Warranty & Manufacturer's Warranty

Starting on September the 27th in 2026, information regarding statutory warranty rights within the EU will be more standardized.

The new EU label is intended to show consumers at a glance that statutory warranty rights apply to the product they have purchased.

The label features a standardized design and a QR code that can be scanned to access further information on statutory warranty rights.

The label does not change the statutory warranty rights. Above all, it ensures that information provided to consumers is consistent and more easily recognizable.

Your rights when shopping in our onlineshop or at our stores

When you purchase a product, you have legal rights as a consumer. These rights apply regardless of whether the manufacturer also offers a voluntary warranty.

On this page, we explain in simple terms what the statutory warranty means, what a manufacturer’s warranty is, and how you can recognize the corresponding EU labels.

Your legal rights remain in effect even if a manufacturer’s warranty is also offered for a product.
