By combining the GPS signal and mobile communications the Tracker works at any distance, unlike Bluetooth-based trackers there are no limits to range.

The location of your dog is updated every minute. As soon as you activate live tracking, the Tracker transmits the current location every 15 seconds, which supports a targeted search for your pet. If the Tracker has not been in use for a long time, it may take a few minutes for the first positioning to occur.

Some walkies are too short to be recorded. To ensure a recording, the walk should be at least 15 minutes long. Of course, the Tracker also works without recording a round and LIVE tracking can also be used. In addition, we recommend turning the Tracker on five minutes before walking to ensure a more complete recording.

The Tracker analyses the GPS positions and uses an algorithm to detect whether you and your pet are currently going for walkies. We are continuously improving this algorithm so that as many walkies as possible are correctly recognised. If one of your walkies is not displayed our algorithm has unfortunately misinterpreted the activity.

It is important that The Tracker works independently of the determined activities.
The GPS position is captured and can be viewed in the app, i.e. even if an activity has not been recorded, you can be sure that you will find your pet in the event of an emergency.

The charging status of the Tracker is displayed on the charger (charger puck) and in the app.

Charge Tracker:

1. Connect the charging puck to a power source (PC, USB adapter)
2. The charging puck is ready for use when the LED lights up green continuously
3. Place the charging puck on the Tracker, now the LED lights up red continuously
4. When the Tracker is fully charged the LED lights up green continuously again
5. If the charging puck is placed on a fully charged Tracker, the LED continues to light up green

Troubleshooting:

1. If the Tracker does not charge properly, simply remove the charging puck from the power source, wait until the green LED goes out and reinsert it, the charging puck starts again and should work properly again
2. If the restart did not help, please use an alternative power source (other PC or USB adapter) and try again
3. Get in touch with our support team and we will check the functionality

Please note that both the Tracker and your smartphone must have mobile phone reception in order to correctly display the charge status in the Tracker app.

Our Tracker is generally usable in all regions of Germany. The Tracker uses the new NB-IoT wireless standard for communication and uses both the Telekom and Vodafone network. The highest accuracy of the signal is guaranteed if your dog is outdoors. Under these conditions a location accuracy of up to three meters can be achieved.

As with all GPS systems, localisation depends on the reception of a signal. This can be influenced by environmental conditions such as the weather, surrounding trees or buildings which can lead to inaccuracies up to a lack of reception.

When using the Tracker while walking, the battery life is up to one week. If you leave the Tracker on your pet continuously, the battery life is reduced to about one day.

In addition, environmental influences, such as severe temperature fluctuations or the reception quality of the mobile network, can have an impact on battery life.

You can either use the Tracker all day on the collar or harness of your dog, or attach it exclusively for walkies. If you use the Tracker only when walking, the battery life is significantly longer than with constant use. To protect not only the battery, but also to ensure an ideal recording of your walkies route, we recommend turning the Tracker on five minutes before walking.

We have already taken into account the ongoing communication costs that are common for GPS trackers in the purchase price. You are guaranteed to not incur any ongoing costs in the first two years.

The GPS Tracker business is new to us and therefore we cannot yet conclusively answer this question. We guarantee that our GPS Tracker will not generate any running costs in the first two years. After these two years, a small annual fee of up to max. EUR 9.99 may be incurred. However, it is also conceivable that the use will remain free of charge in the third year. We will inform you about your options in good time before the free two years expires. In any case, it remains your decision whether you want to continue using the Tracker after the first two years or not.
