AniOne Wooden Hedgehog House

In several German states, hedgehogs have already been classified as an endangered species. The reasons for their decline depend on a variety of risk factors, with road traffic deaths being the main cause for hedgehogs. Another reason is the use of poisons in our gardens, as this reduces the food available for hedgehogs.

As a species that adapts to human environments, hedgehogs can be found in gardens, parks and even in large cities. They are active at dusk and at night in search of food, which may include insects, frogs, snails and fruit. This makes hedgehogs very useful in the garden.
