Trixie nest material

Trixie

Item No.: 1032388

Birds like to use scharpie or cotton fibres as a nesting material. The material is digestible.

Birds who want to build their nest will be delighted by the range of Trixie nest materials – scharpie & cotton fibres, but hamsters, mice and other small animals will love it too.

Scharpie was once used for dressing wounds and is still offered as a nest material for birds. The short cotton fibres are popular with birds, as they are soft and easy to pluck. They can also be safely put in cages, as they are digestible for the animals. With these fibres, birds, hamsters and other small animals can not only line their nests, but also use it for weaving. When the birds start nesting, you should offer Trixie nest material – scharpie or cotton fibres.
