Pugs are generally robust, lively and intelligent dogs. The growth stage is an important phase in a puppies life. The right food plays a central role here: this is because your puppy receives the nutrients that it needs for optimal development in the growth phase from its diet.
Royal Canin Pug Puppy has been specially developed for pug puppies for up to 10 months. Thanks to an exclusive antioxidant complex (including vitamin E), the puppy feed helps support the body's own defences as they gradually develop. Furthermore, Royal Canin Pug Puppy contains a special combination of nutrients with high-quality proteins (L.I.P.), which have been specially selected for their high digestibility.
Their adjusted calcium and phosphorus content means that the puppy food helps to support the bones and joints of your puppy during this growth phase. In addition, the selected nutrients help to promote and maintain your puppy’s ideal body weight.
Special requirements of pugsMoisture can build up in the folds of the skin, causing skin irritation. This breed-specific dry food supports the skin’s barrier function. This can make a contribution to the dog’s overall health. Because of the characteristic jaw and lip shape, pugs tend to swallow food without chewing. The exclusive, tailor-made kibble from Royal Canin Pug Adult is specially adapted to the jaws of pug puppies – to encourage your pug to chew its food properly.
All Royal Canin products go through extensive quality control to ensure optimum food quality and meet your dog’s individual nutritional needs and lifestyle. This means that with Royal Canin Pug Puppy, you can offer your pup high-quality and balanced nutrition.

Understanding customer ratings and reviews
Product reviews
How do reviews work in the Fressnapf group (including Maxi Zoo)?
Customer opinions in the form of product reviews and star ratings are beneficial for all customers. They enable you to learn more about the product and help you make a decision to purchase. Every customer who has bought a product online or in the store can submit a review. We also obtain reviews from third-party sources, e.g. manufacturer sites. The source of the review is shown alongside the respective comment. Its customers’ opinions are important to Fressnapf in order to analyse any weak points and to improve product quality. Our service provider Bazaarvoice checks all reviews to ensure that they are credible. Any review content that breaches the Fressnapf Group's terms of use will be rejected. Otherwise, both positive and negative product reviews are published. More information about product reviews can be found here.
