ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O Small Dog is a balanced and nutrient-rich formula that has been specially developed to help small dogs with urinary problems such as struvite crystals and stones.

Dissolving struvite stones

The nutrient mixture contained in this formula helps to dissolve struvite crystals and stones that can form in the bladder.

Low RSS value

This formula has a low RSS value (relative supersaturation). This reduces the ion concentration and prevents the formation of possible urinary stones.

Dilution of urine

This food dilutes your dog’s urine, which makes the formation of struvite and calcium oxalate stones difficult.

Dental stone prophylaxis

This formula contains a nutrient that binds calcium in the saliva, which can help to reduce the formation of plaque.

Mixed feeding possible 

In order to meet the individual preferences of all dogs, ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O Small Dog can be combined with ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O wet food with fine chunks in gravy or mousse.* Mixed feeding gives food different textures, which can stimulate appetite. Wet food has a more intense flavour and its moisture content helps to regulate the pet’s water balance. Dry food, on the other hand, is easier to absorb and good for the teeth.
