Nutrition is a very important factor for supporting the health of your adult Chihuahua. Royal Canin Chihuahua Adult is suitable for Chihuahuas from eight months of age. The food has been specially tailored to the needs of adult Chihuahuas, which are known to be especially fussy eaters. The dry food is very tasty and satisfies even the pickiest of Chihuahuas thanks to the combination of the following three factors:
- the use of selected ingredients
- the size and shape of the croquettes has been specially adapted
- an exclusive nutritional profile
The form, size and texture of the croquettes have been developed exclusively for the tiny jaws of Chihuahuas. This way, Chihuahuas can easily eat the croquettes and chew them effortlessly.
Furthermore, the nutrients in Royal Canin Chihuahua Adult help to support your dog’s digestion, which reduces the volume and odour of its stool. Furthermore, in order to support the dental health of adult Chihuahuas, the exclusive recipe includes substances to capture calcium, which reduces the risk of tartar build-up.
For more diversity: Mixed feeding with Royal Canin Chihuahua wet foodIn order to cater to the preferences of various dogs, Royal Canin Chihuahua Adult is also available as a soft, tasty wet food covered in sauce. If you’re considering giving your dog mixed feed (dry and wet food), simply follow our feeding guidelines. This ensures that your dog gets the right amount of wet and dry food.
Royal Canin quality promiseAll Royal Canin products go through extensive quality controls to ensure optimum food quality and to meet your dog’s individual nutritional needs and lifestyle. This means that with Royal Canin Chihuahua Adult, you’re giving your dog a high-quality and balanced diet.

Understanding customer ratings and reviews
Product reviews
How do reviews work in the Fressnapf group (including Maxi Zoo)?
Customer opinions in the form of product reviews and star ratings are beneficial for all customers. They enable you to learn more about the product and help you make a decision to purchase. Every customer who has bought a product online or in the store can submit a review. We also obtain reviews from third-party sources, e.g. manufacturer sites. The source of the review is shown alongside the respective comment. Its customers’ opinions are important to Fressnapf in order to analyse any weak points and to improve product quality. Our service provider Bazaarvoice checks all reviews to ensure that they are credible. Any review content that breaches the Fressnapf Group's terms of use will be rejected. Otherwise, both positive and negative product reviews are published. More information about product reviews can be found here.
