Dissolution of struvite

The nutrient blend contained in this formula helps to dissolve struvite crystals and stones that may form in the bladder.

Urine dilution 

This food dilutes your dog’s urine, making it more difficult for struvite and calcium oxalate stones to form.

Low RSS value

This formula has a low RSS value (relative supersaturation). This reduces the ion concentration and helps prevent the formation of urinary stones.

Mixed feeding possible 

To cater for the individual preferences of all dogs, ROYAL CANIN Urinary S/O wet food is also available with tender chunks in gravy or as dry food with crunchy kibble.* Combining the two types of food provides a variety of textures, which can stimulate the appetite. Wet food has a more intense flavour and its moisture content helps to regulate the pet’s hydration. Dry food, on the other hand, is easier to digest and good for the teeth.
