ROYAL CANIN® Early Renal to support your dog’s kidney function
ROYAL CANIN® Early Renal is a balanced and nutrient-rich formula that has been specially developed to support your dog’s kidneys in case of early stage impaired renal function.
Early support for kidney function
A synergistic combination of antioxidants such as EPA and DHA ensures that your cat’s kidneys are supported from the first signs of impairment. As the kidneys may not be able to filter phosphorus from the blood efficiently, this food contains a moderate content of phosphorus.
EPA + DHA
This formula was enriched with long-chain omega 3-fatty acids EPA and DHA, which can support kidney function.
Antioxidant complex
The food contains an antioxidant combination that contributes to the neutralisation of free radicals and supports the tissue as well as the cells of your dog.
Important comment
This product is a veterinary food from ROYAL CANIN®’s Veterinary Health Nutrition range. Therefore, it is important that the food is only fed on the recommendation of a veterinarian. This ensures that your pet gets the food it really needs. A dietary change should be made carefully and gradually over a period of 7-10 days. Make sure the portion size is correct – especially with mixed feeding.
Mixed feeding possible
In order to meet the individual preferences of all dogs, ROYAL CANIN® Early Renal is also available as Wet food with fine chunks in gravy.* Mixed feeding gives the food different textures, which can stimulate appetite. Wet food has a more intense flavour and its moisture content helps to regulate the pet’s water balance. Dry food, on the other hand, is easier to absorb and good for the teeth.
*Depends on product availability

When administering veterinary dietetic feed, a veterinary surgeon should be consulted at least every 6 months for a check-up. In the event that the pet’s condition deteriorates in the course of feeding, veterinary advice should be sought immediately. By choosing and putting the selected diet food in the shopping basket, you confirm that you have read and understood the above instructions. |

Understanding customer ratings and reviews
Product reviews
How do reviews work in the Fressnapf group (including Maxi Zoo)?
Customer opinions in the form of product reviews and star ratings are beneficial for all customers. They enable you to learn more about the product and help you make a decision to purchase. Every customer who has bought a product online or in the store can submit a review. We also obtain reviews from third-party sources, e.g. manufacturer sites. The source of the review is shown alongside the respective comment. Its customers’ opinions are important to Fressnapf in order to analyse any weak points and to improve product quality. Our service provider Bazaarvoice checks all reviews to ensure that they are credible. Any review content that breaches the Fressnapf Group's terms of use will be rejected. Otherwise, both positive and negative product reviews are published. More information about product reviews can be found here.
